We read almost 600 applications as well as had a unenviable charge of selecting just 10 essay as well as photography Glimpse Correspondents for Spring 2011.

The Correspondents who will work with Glimpse editor Sarah Menkedick for a Spring cycle werent necessarily a field who had a many polished essay sample, a top GPAs, or a many relevant work or proffer experiences though you do ask for all of which report as well as take it in to consideration.

They werent necessarily a writers or photographers with impressive publication experience, even though field with credits like National Public Radio, a BBC, as well as Slate submitted their work for consideration.

Instead, a Correspondents all conveyed which theyre seeing a universe at belligerent level. Theyre not simply out to have an adventure; theyre responding to an obligatory need to try an thought as well as share it with readers.

Our 10 Correspondents are:

Jiffer Bourguignon
Iris Chung
Polly Fields
Julian Hill
Ivana Ng
Emma Parker
Lauren Quinn
Margaret Robinson
Shaina Shealy
Klara Wojtkowska
